Description
Villagg tal-Fanal is five minutes away by car from the capital city Victoria. There is a small well-stocked mini-market within walking distance from the village.
There are twenty six houses in all (with one, two, three or four bedrooms), each having a well-equipped kitchen (ideal for self-catering holidays) and a comfortable living room. All the two bed-roomed houses have a large terrace on ground or first floor level.
A large swimming pool and sunbeds are at the disposal of the residents. The village is adorned with plants, and there is an atmosphere of complete relaxation and tranquility. All residents may park their cars in a large underground car park situated beneath part of the village itself. A weekly maid service including change of linen and towels is offered free of charge.
Apartments have coin operated air conditioning units in bedrooms for both cold air and heat. The air conditioning units are operated using Eur1 and Eur2 coins.

Having stayed at this particular location for the 3rd time now and other locations within your group a further 3 or 4 times I knew the quality of the stay my family and I would be likely to receive, however imagine my surprise ,upset and disappointmesee more
Having stayed at this particular location for the 3rd time now and other locations within your group a further 3 or 4 times I knew the quality of the stay my family and I would be likely to receive, however imagine my surprise ,upset and disappointment when this was not the case on this particular visit!
Everything was ok for the first 2 or 3 days BUT, when the management allowed people to stay that were clearly out of the normal demographic of who usually stays this made our stay less enjoyable. Whilst I appreciate that you are not able to screen and vet every guest, the arrival of 3 or 4 groups of younger adults disturbed the calm atmosphere usually enjoyed here with their loud music, screaming and singing, untidiness and general disregard for other guest was quite frankly unacceptable!!! I know other guests made complaints, along with myself and my wife both directly to the parties and the management, however, the managements handling of this situation was extremely poor and disappointing. I am not against everyone having a good time and enjoying themselves BUT sitting by the pool drinking from glass, which is prohibited around this area along with glass bottles left by the sunbeds and poolside is not only unacceptable but dangerous and could result in a large expense to yourself should these items enter the water!!It would also appear when confronted by the mangagement to discuss their wanton behavior, this was ignored and they carried on DRINKING and SMOKING IN THE POOL |

Then we come to the invasion of the pool later in the week by 'locals' who were not paying guests....quite frankly a disaster from start to finish, which no one again seems to be able to control, even with the distribution of wrist bands!!! No ball games in the pool, which to be fair I really do not have an issue with but 6 or 7 balls were being played with in a full pool, however when later in the week there was no one in the pool other than myself, wife and son we were told we could not use the ball, even though we were not disturbing anyone, and at the same time someone was playing music and drinking from a glass poolside, they were totally ignored!! The hypocrisy and inconsistency has made me question whether to book the 2 stays we had planned to make with you in the next 12 months, which is a shame as we do enjoy our holidays at your locations for their relaxed and calming atmosphere, something that I can honestly say we do not get this time and am sorry to say that is down to the poor and weak management you have there. Catering for everyone's needs is difficult I know, but the handling of all the situations was very disappointing, it appeared that the offenders were treated better than the offended and having spoken to other guests whilst we were there, that seemed to be the consensus of opinion and I feel that some financial recompense should be considered as a gesture of goodwill. |

I would’ve appreciated maybe the faulty boiler being fixed first time as we kept having to ask for it to be looked at, and the day before we left it was fixed so we all finally had hot showers.
